Saturday 29 September 2.30–3.15pm

Sunday 30 September 3.40–4.30pm

The Show:

Storytelling is a skill. Just like taking free kicks or baking awesome brownies or convincing your little sister to tidy your room. And like any other skill, you can get good at it. Really good. Especially if you know all the secret tips...
Join author Sam Gayton for an interactive session of games, stories and Very Bad Rap™, as he talks about how he makes his books - and how you can make your own, too!

Ages: 7+

About Sam:

Sam Gayton is a young author and playwright whose books are aimed at 7-11 year old boys and girls.

He really likes reading books about tiny people. He likes tiny people so much that he has written a book about one.

Sam has written five books: The Snow Merchant (winner of the Tower Hamlets Book Award), Hercufleas (shortlisted for the UKLA Award), Lilliput, His Royal Whiskers (nominated for the Carnegie Medal 2018), and the soon-to-be-released The Last Zoo.
