About Terry & Andy:
Terry Caffrey is an extremely talented performance poet and is currently poet in residence at the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester and the Citadel Theatre, St Helens.
Terry loves having fun with words and language and has worked in over 4,500 schools, libraries, prisons and festivals throughout the UK and numerous schools overseas. His writing has received a commission by The Roald Dahl Foundation and the lyrics to one of his songs (originally a poem) was chosen to be one of the official children’s songs for the 2012 Olympics.
Andy Winters is a magician, performer, writer and educator. He learnt his trade as a magician from his circus-performing uncle Jack who trained him as a young boy. Andy has been commissioned by Her Majesty’s Home Office to produce a number of resources for anti-bullying and crime prevention and was invited by Princess Anne to Buckingham Palace to receive the Butler Trust Award for engaging young people in the Arts.
Together, Terry and Andy create quite the dynamic team and often perform their three interactive shows in schools, youth offending teams and community settings in the UK and internationally.
They regularly perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to packed houses with their winning combination of poetry and magic.
