I Can Only Draw Worms Event If you thought drawing worms was easy, think again. Will Mabbitt (probably the worst illustrator of his generation) shows you how he created his latest picture book ‘I Can Only Draw Worms’ (published by Puffin). He'll be guiding you through the seven rules of worm portraiture, making some balloon animals, and most importantly getting children drawing with his inspirational lack of talent. He'll also be reading from a couple of his books and for a finale will attempt the impossible: drawing something that isn't a worm.
Ages: 4+ This event is on Saturday

His wrote first book, The Unlikely Adventures of Mabel Jones, during many hours whilst stuck on the train commuting to work in London. It was shortlisted for the Branford Boase Award. Will has been writing since 2015 and declares himself the world's worst illustrator but unbelievably his picture book I Can Only Draw Worms was nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal.
